SMA Driver Training

You need a license which permits you to drive in the UK, This can be UK Provisional, full UK, EU, or other national or International licenses, I will check that you have one at the beginning of your lessons, but if for any reason you become ineligible to drive in the UK, you MUST inform me straight away.

You must obey the law regarding fitness to drive with respect to alcohol and drugs. If I believe that you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, I will terminate/cancel the lesson and you will have to pay for the lesson in full. Think about the morning after before you have the night before!

Once a lesson has been agreed, you need to give 48 hours notice to cancel. If you do not do this, you may be required to pay for the lesson in full. If you are late for a lesson, it will finish on time and you will have to pay for the lesson in full.

Payments for lessons must be made either in advance or on the day. Block bookings must be paid in full to qualify for the discounted rate and are valid for 12 months from your first lesson and must be used within this time. I do not have Credit Facilities so please do not ask.

On the day of your test, I will pick you up from your Home/Workplace, give you a one hour lesson, 15 minute pre-test brief, the use of the car for the test, a post test de-brief and drive you back to your Home/Workplace. The cost of this is £75.00.

An Insurance excess of £150.00 applies if you have an accident which is your fault during the test.

If I believe you are unsafe to drive unaccompanied, I will NOT let you use my car for the test!

No-one else is allowed in the car during lessons, exceptions to this may be made on religious or Health and Safety grounds.
